Melvina Bernadine (Ringo) Welsh "Mel"

Melvina (Mel) Ringo Welsh of Brazoria passed away on August 15, 2017.  Mel was born in Palacios, Texas on August 24, 1940 to Sylvia Bell (Arnold) and Alvin Elisha Ringo.  She relocated to Brazoria County in 1970 where she lived out the remainder of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter Kelsea Brown; sisters Athaleen Hall and Oveta Chamblee; and her brother Cecil Ringo.

She is survived by her husband Jimmie Welsh; daughter Tammy Brown; grandson Steven Brown; granddaughter Kailey Brown; great-grandchildren Kaiden, Kaylor, Korbin and Colton; sister Patsy Langlinais (Harold); and brothers Marvin Ringo (Darlene) and Larry Ringo (Patricia).

Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia, Texas on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
