Funeral services for Willie Jammer Jr., 86, of Brazoria, will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria, TX with Rev. Mark Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.
Willie Jammer Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at his residence in Brazoria.
He retired from BASF(Mundy) after 56 years where he worked as a chemical loader.
He was a member of Zion Temple A.M.E. Church where he served as a member of the Steward Board and the Trustee Board. He enjoyed car detailing in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Jammer Sr, and Bertha Johnson Jammer; brother, Jimbo Jammer and great granddaughter, Eve Jammer.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 62 years, Bessie Lee Jammer, of Brazoria; daughter, Jacquelyn Jammer Watkis of Brazoria; sons, Gerald Jammer (Chrystal) of Richmond, Thomas Jammer Sr. (Danielle) of Houston; sisters, Carrie Bailey and Edith Harris, both of Clute, Rosa Fletcher of Brazoria; grandchildren, Thomas Jammer Jr. of Dallas, Jessica Hillmon (Thurston) of Rosharon, Bryana Watkis of Katy, Tyrell Jammer, Tarrick Jammer, Robyne Williams, all of Houston; 4 great -grandchildren; brother/cousin, Elmer Johnson of Ohio; best friend/cousin, Mary Johnson of Brazoria, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Bailey, Clifton Harris, Reginald Harris, Kelvin Bryant, Thurston Hillmon, Jr. and Jabari Mack.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.
