William Strother

William Strother, 74, of West Columbia passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 14, 2024.  He was born in Oakdale, LA on December 6, 1949 to Hares and Lula Strother.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.

He leaves precious memories with his son, John Strother of West Columbia; daughters, Donna Thomas (Michael) of Sweeny, Theresa Butler (Jimane) of Clute and Lisa Pospisil of Angleton; sister, Lue Ellen Bergen of Angleton; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other friends and relatives.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Mears, Rex Mears, Edward Bergen, Duane Burt, Douglas William Strother, Jr. and Shane Crouch.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 19, 2024 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria at 11:00 a.m.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia.
