Vernon Ray Mullins

Vernon Ray Mullins, 80, of Angleton passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025.  He was born March 16, 1945 in Freeport, Texas to Vernon and Dorothy Mullins.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, of Brazoria. He loved spending time with his grandkids and spending time in the mountains of Colorado.

Vernon is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Mullins, and his parents; grandparents Horace and Ludie Magness; sister, Joyce Shrum.

He leaves precious memories with his son, John Mullins (Oneta) of Angleton; daughter, Jennifer Payne (Roy) of Fulshear; brother, Paul Mullin (Paula); 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Brazoria.  Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Greg Smith, officiating.
