Tommy Ray Clevenger

Tommy Ray Clevenger passed away on October 13, 2023 in Sweeny, TX. He was born May 25, 1948 in Lueders, TX to Jack and Laura Clevenger.

Tommy was a wheeler and dealer who enjoyed life to the fullest.  He was a Rig Manager until his retirement in 2019.  He served his country Honorably in the Navy from 1965-1969. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Clevenger; mother, Laura Clevenger; wife of 28 years, Kathleen Clevenger; son, William Baggett; son, Chuck Clevenger; 9 brothers and 6 sisters.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Christina Clevenger of Sweeny; children, Tommy Ray Clevenger II (Kelli Clevenger) of Elgin, IL, Kimberly Harvey of West Columbia, Jackie Frazer (Loren Frazer) of Brazoria, Melissa Smith (Ricky Smith) of West Columbia, Dottie Lopez (Joe Lopez) of Stanford, TX, and Carole Gorman; brother, Wayne Clevenger of Abilene, TX; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Gulf Coast Bible Church, 20 CR 502, Sweeny, Texas with Pastor King officiating.
