Funeral Service for Tommie C. Strambler, 81, of Angleton will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery.

He passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX.

He was a good conversationalist who enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.  Tommie was a kind a caring man that had a generous heart and never met a stranger.  He retired after many years of service as a Foreman from Dow Chemical Company. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Strambler of Angleton; 9 children; sister, Martha Johnson of Houston; brother, L.D. Strambler and his wife Naomi of Freeport; good friends, Dewey Lemon, David Flores and Ed Gurton; grandchildren; great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Ernest Strambler, Dante’ Strambler, Troy Knoxon, Dewey Lemon, Zacharius Addison and Shahmar Cross.
