Timotea Gamboa Contreras

Timotea Gamboa Contreras, 86, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022.  She was born August 26, 1935 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Dionicio and Ysidra Gamboa.

Timotea was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness and loved to sew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dionicio and Ysidra Gamboa; son, Teofilo Contreras; brothers, Aucencio Gamboa, Pablo Gamboa, Dulces Gamboa and sister, Anita Gamboa.

Timotea leaves precious memories with her son, Raul Contreras, Sr. of Angleton; daughters, Melissa Tovar (Hipolito) of West Columbia, Elizabeth Brown (Larry) of Brazoria; sisters, Santiago Gamboa of Spring, TX and Apolonia Gamboa of Webster, TX; brothers, Adan Gamboa (Alba) of Richwood, TX and Esteban Gamboa (Reyes) of Fort Stockton, TX; good friends Minnie Reyes of Corpus Christi, TX, Flor Cantu of Clute, TX and Janie Garcia of Lake Jackson, TX; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; caregiver, Sandra; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Dixon Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Rolando Rodriguez officiating.  Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2022 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Active pallbearers will be Andrew Tovar, Raul Contreras, Jr., Polo Tovar, Jr., Raul Contreras, Richard Contreras and Larry Brown.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
