Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Jammer Jr., 77, of Missouri City, Texas, formerly of Freeport, will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
TJ passed away peacefully at his residence on March 19, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, service and devotion to his family and community.
He was a proud and dedicated individual and was a member of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. He also served in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge.
He worked faithfully with The Houston Police Department with distinction for 28 years and was awarded a medal by Mayor Lee P. Brown in recognition of his dedication and service to the community.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Katriece Jammer; two grandchildren, Jasmahry James and Jalaina Jammer, both of Freeport, Texas; two brothers, Perry Jammer, Sr. of Humble, Texas, and Walter Jammer (Maryetta) of Angleton, Texas; his aunt, Wilma Taylor of Houston, Texas; a special friend, Francine Priestley of Houston, Texas and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces,and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at Dixon Funeral Home same day of service from 10:00 - 11:00 a. m.
