Funeral services for Thomas Elget Edwards, Jr., 68, of Brazoria will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Fifth Street Church of Christ in Sweeny, TX with Bro Devin Lemon, officiating and Bro. George McKnight, eulogizing.

He passed away on September 19, 2025 at his residence.

He worked for many years in the plant and enjoyed fishing and barbecuing. He was a member of Third Street Church of Christ under the leadership of Bro. George McKnight.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ruth and Thomas Edwards, Sr.; brother, Kennith Ray Edwards and partner, Sue Richardson.

He is survived by his sons, Torland Edwards and wife Rebecca of Manvel, TX, Ke’Torrin Edwards and his wife Amber of Augusta, SC; daughter, Ka’Tina Edwards of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Linda Morton of Antacocita, TX and Chaney Stern and husband Dan of Houston, TX; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Mayne Lewis, Roy Davidson, Taj Randon, Shawn Brown, Steve Brown and Tyler Edwards.

Visitation will be on the same day of the service from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Fifth Street Church of Christ in Sweeny, TX.
