Funeral services for Terry Dimitri Howard, 65, of Savannah, Georgia, formerly of Freeport, will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport with Apostle Eric D. Ramsey presiding and Pastor Marcus Lincoln eulogizing. Burial will follow at Gulf Coast Cemetery in Clute, TX.
He passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Terry was educated in the Brazoria County School System and graduated from Brazosport High School where he played football. He was a hard worker and provided for his family. He had a thirst for life and enjoyed a good party and a game of dominoes. He also loved trail rides and the rodeo. He loved football and barbeque and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by siblings Wilker Howard, Larry Howard, Betty Nichols, Rogers Nichols and Andra Howard.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Shareema Howard; son, Dimitrius Howard (Karen); grandchildren, Quincy, Quinn, Angel, Qiana, Laron, Dimitri, Datravion, and Kaden; two great grandchildren, Roman and Ah’Nalia; sisters, Renee (Paul), Vernice, Gladys (Richard), Louella, Barbara, Jackie and Carolyn (Melvin); brothers, Robert (Valarie) and Elmo (Ella); his favorite girl, Ms. Angelyn “Ms. Angie” Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Melvin White, Delvin Nichols, Jason Logan, Ralph Edwards, Antoine Howard, Bobby Hall, Elton Gore, Tashon Howard, John Smith Jr., Rogers Nichols, David Howard and Que’Darrien Bryant.
