Tekesha Shavette Roberson

Funeral services for Tekesha Shavette Roberson, 47, of Rosharon, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Freeport, with Pastor Charles Roberson officiating.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Tekesha passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

She was self-employed as owner of a tax business.

Kesha was a loving and devoted mother of two beautiful children, Gaylan and Marlin White Jr. She enjoyed spending time with them and their children. She was very active in their lives and wouldn’t go a day without face-timing/speaking to them.

She loved watching her team, Americas team, the Dallas Cowboys with her Circle.

Kesha was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Laverne Roberson and son, Marlin Douglas, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Sugar Charles Roberson  (Carolyn), Bay City; daughter, Gaylan White, Rosharon; sisters, Charlette Addison, Angleton, Danyal Manning (Jerry), Bay City, Rosalind Williams (Terrell), Houston, Brittney Roberson, Bay City, Whittney Roberson, Bay City; brothers, Charles Roberson, Lake Jackson, Dwayne Roberson, Rosenberg, John Roberson, Houston, Joshua Roberson (Desarrae), Bay City and Mario Payton, Angleton; grandchildren, Liam White, Kehlani White, and Harlan Williams; best friend, Melody Willis, Atlanta and an abundance of cousins and many more relatives and friends who were so special to Tekesha.  

Active pallbearers will be Joshua Roberson, Mario Payton, Malik Bree, Shawd Thrift, Lawrence Schexnayder and Clifford Randon, Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024 at Dixon Funeral Home – Angleton from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
