Funeral services for Tamoria RaShon Jones, 35, of Austin, TX, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, 3826 Wheeler Ave., Houston, TX, with
Dr. Marcus D. Crosby officiating.
Tamoria RaShon “Tee” Jones burst into the world on May 22, 1988, to Ronald “Ronny” Campbell and Kaydrian Jones in Lake Jackson, TX, at Brazosport Memorial Hospital. She is the middle child of 3 and the youngest daughter. She was christened at the tender age of 2 at her home church, First Missionary Baptist Church, located in Freeport, TX, where she would later accept Christ as her savior and get baptized.
At an early age, Tee was a force to be reckoned with by being an honor roll student and a multi-sport varsity athlete. She played volleyball, basketball, ran track, played softball and powerlifted.
She also took 3 years of Spanish which she went on to develop a close relationship with her Spanish teacher, Nelda Thrash, and her daughter Christina, which they continued to maintain up until her passing. She went on to graduate from Brazosport High School in Freeport, TX, in 2006.
Tee means the world to everyone and her friendship with one person didn’t negate her friendship with another. She loves many and many love and adore her. Christina Bonds, Krystal Pitre, Daysha Fontenette, Teri Matchett, Yoshana McEachin, Kelcie Perkins, Donneisha Perkins, Adrianna Buford, Kimberly Jones, Camille Foster, Odus Evbagharu, Michelle W, Ms. Helen and Kim Brensen were among many of her most valued and treasured friendships.She leaves to cherish her legacy, father, Ronald “Ronny” Campbell; mother, Kaydrian Jones; grandmothers, Elder Doris Jones and Cheryl Ann Chambers; brother, Ben Jones; sister, Kuwanna Jones; nieces, La’Nya Woods and Giselle Gilliard; nephew, Jayson Gilliard; Special longtime friend, Strode V. Churchwell; godmother, Rev. April Thomas; special aunt and uncle, Albert and Jackie Hawkins and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, staffers and colleagues.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2023 at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will also be Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to service.
