Tammy Rene Hobbs, 51, of Holiday Lakes passed away on October 24, 2020 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, TX, surrounded by her loving family.
Tammy was born on July 10, 1969 to Charles Monroe Brown, Sr. and Cordie Lee Chafin in Houston, TX.
She previously worked as a baker and as a wallpaper hanger.
She was a member of Holiday Lakes Baptist Church. She was also a supporter of United Way and she enjoyed baking, crafting, and painting.
Tammy was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Lee Hobbs; grandfather, Harry William Shurbet; grandmother, Helen Lucille Shurbet; brother, Charles Monroe Brown, Jr.; aunt, Ellen Marie Hess; and uncle, Tom Hess.
She is survived by her mother, Cordie Lee Hughes, Holiday Lakes; father, Charles Monroe Brown; sons, Justin Lee Gene Hobbs of Huffman, TX, Brandon William Brown of Houston, and Marshall Wayne Reese Hilton of Holiday Lakes; grandson, Xavier Bain Brown of Dayton, TX.; good friends, Sharmon Grela, Cheryl Johnston, and Krista D’Abadie; and a host of relatives and friends.
