Visitation for Steven Ray Thompson, Sr., 59, of Clute will be Friday, September 3, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral in Angleton. He will be buried at Gulf Coast Cemetery in Clute, TX.
He passed away on August 19, 2021 in Clute, TX.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1961 in Freeport, TX to Jerry Lee and Charity Thompson.
Steven attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Congregation in Clute, TX and worked at GulfStream Marine for over 20 years. On his job at GulfStream Marine, Steve was always complemented on the great job he did. He accomplished a lot on his job and even was awarded a gold watch. He loved his job and enjoyed working alongside his coworkers. Steven enjoyed motorcycles and dually trucks.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Thompson, Sr. and his brother Jerry Lee Thompson Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Charity Thompson of Clute; 2 sons, Anthony Thompson of Lake Jackson and Steven Thompson Jr. (Raven) of Dexter, Michigan; 3 grandchildren, Brayden, Serenity, and Sierra; siblings, Mildred of Angleton, Gerald of Montana, Alice (Albert) of Angleton, Gary of Clute, Elizabeth (Samuel 1st) of Houston, and Suzy ( Noris I) of Houston; his best friend, Lalo Sanchez of Freeport and a host of many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a community of friends who will cherish his memory.
For we know this world is not our home. His life on earth is complete. We miss you and love you.
