Steven Symm, 28, of Sweeny, Texas, passed away peacefully November 7, 2021 at Memorial Herman Hospital after a one week stay with his family by his side. Steven was involved in a tragic accident at work, working hard, making a paycheck, and paying his bills.
Steven was born on April Fool’s Day in 1993 to Steven Carl Symm and Kelly Allen. Steven was a miracle, premature baby born at 1 pound, 7oz in Galveston, Texas, and came home three months later as a healthy baby boy at four and a half pounds. Steven graduated from Sweeny High School in 2011. He ran track, cross country, and played football. Steven never met a stranger and was always willing to help others.
He loved the outdoors; especially Three Rivers, Texas, where he hunted with his dad; it was always their happy place. His last trip was Labor Day with his Dad and was very laborious preparing the hunting site. Thanks to Steven’s hard work in helping his dad, they enjoyed each other’s company and prepared the area for the upcoming deer season. Steven loved going to Moody Gardens in Galveston with his mom and brother that was their happy place.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandfathers; David Allen Sr, R.H. Symm, and Norbert Wilhelm; grandmother; Georgia Smith Allen; and aunt Tara Allen.
Steven is survived by the love of his life, Daughter Tahlia Symm of Trenton Ohio; parents Steven Carl Symm (Beth) and Kelly Allen; siblings Seth Symm, Mackenzie Symm, Morgan Wilson (Chris), and Meghan Saenz; grandmothers Reba Robinson (Albert), Dolores Wilhelm, and Loretta Symm; great grandmother Loretta Neal; Uncles David Allen (Jodi}, lance Allen, and John Symm; Aunts Joan Kimber (Greg), Courtney Allen, Susan Stark; friend Daniel Mclntosh; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steven was a very giving person and was always willing to help others. Steven was an organ donor and was able to give a liver, two kidneys, and heart valves to people he did not even know to save their lives. Steven's life will live on, God bless you, Steven.
