A Celebration of Life for Sterling Ray Fields, 54, of Clute will be Saturday, November, 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Church in Brazoria with Rev. Michael Johnson officiating and Rev. Hollis James eulogizing.

Sterling passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Sterling was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and lawn care.  He loved riding his bike, playing dominoes, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was a conversationist who never met a stranger.

He leaves treasured memories with his wife, Morshall Fields of Clute; parents, David and Gracie Jones of Brazoria; sons, Shelton Rhodes of Victoria, Shelby Rhodes and David Fields both of Clute; daughter, Annie Fields of Brazoria; sisters, Cheryl Johnson (Rev. Michael Johnson), Shawnte Jones, both of Brazoria, and Delinda Bryan of Clute; brothers, Reginald Jones (Katherine) of Angleton, Keith Fields (Shemerrylyn) of Rosenberg, Kendall Jones (Terica) of Brazoria; friends, Jeraldean Woodard and Spincer Bivens of Brazoria; 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
