Stacy Lynn (Sammons) Vogel

Stacy Lynn Vogel, 42, of Brazoria passed away on April 9, 2022 at her residence. She was born on March 27, 1980 in Baytown, Texas to Ricky Sammons and Belinda Chandler Sammons. 

She graduated from Columbia High School in 1998. Stacy took some college courses but chose to be a stay home wife and care for her son, William Clayton Vogel. In addition to caring for her family, she was involved with AA and NA support meetings, loved to be surrounded by her family and close friends, as well as help others in need. Her greatest achievement was being the mother of Clayton and becoming a Child of God.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; husband of 22 years, William “Billy” Vogel of Brazoria; mother, Belinda Fay Sammons of Brazoria; children, William Brandon Vogel and wife Elizabeth of West Columbia, William Clayton Vogel of Brazoria and Megan Renee Vogel of Richmond; brother, Scott Allen Sammons and wife Fatima of Brazoria; mother-in-law, Helen Vogel of Brazoria; sisters-in-law, Dana Vogel of Richwood and Debbie Vogel of Brazoria; 7 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Mcwain, Scott Allen Sammons, William Brandon Vogel, Aaron Casiano,  Adam Keen and Jason Ellison.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brazoria Church of Christ with Bro. Rick Moore officiating.  A private burial service for family and close friends will take place at Brazoria Cemetery, 113 Tennis St., Brazoria, Texas 77422.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
