Ruby Sandra Marshall

Memorial services for Ruby Sandra Marshall, 70, of Freeport will be Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Freeport, TX with Elder Donald Marshall officiating and Pastor Charles Roberson eulogizing. 

Ruby passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Chi St. Luke Brazosport.

She was a retired paraprofessional at Brazosport I.S.D. and a member of Deacon’s Wives Women Ministry at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. 

She loved cooking, studying the Bible, spending time with her family, shopping and collecting jewelry.  Her favorite scripture was Psalms 121:1.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, James Marshall; and children; James Marshall Jr. and Chandra Beasley.

She leaves precious memories with her daughter, Shonda Marshall; sister, Zeola Bonner (Gerald); son-in-law, Quincy Beasley; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Gee, Helen Parker (Robert), Joann Marshall; brothers, Finish Walton; brothers-in-law, Donald Marshall (Beverly), Leotis Marshall (Vivian); 3 grandchildren, Quiara Beasley, Randy Robertson II,  Joshua Robertson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dedrick Thompson, Gerald Bonner, Jr., Reginald Edwards and Shmir Lewis and Willie Lewis.
