Roxine Nowlin Booker, 80 of Brazoria passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1939 in Rison, Arkansas to Norman and Bertha Cook Nowlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin “PeeWee” Booker and grandson Jody Booker.
She leaves to cherish her loving and wonderful memories; sons, Raymond Booker and wife Connie of Brazoria, Texas; Wayne Booker and wife Rachael of St. Amant, Louisiana; daughters, Roxanne “Ann” Power of Waynesboro, Virginia; Diane Fitzgerald and husband Marcus of Brazoria, Texas; Grandchildren: Jennifer Booker of Danbury, Texas; Stephanie Vega and husband Gabby of Lake Jackson, Texas; Jeremy Breed and wife Jacque of Pearland, Texas; Justin Breed and wife Charity of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Jessica Gross and husband Joshua of Lubbock, Texas; Dustin Booker and wife Kristie of Praireville, Louisiana; Christal Luedecke and husband Kevin of League City, Texas; Ernie Leist III and wife Jennifer of Fulshear, Texas; Kimberly Fortenberry and husband Clint of Brazoria, Texas; Michelle Youngblood of College Station, Texas. Great grandchildren: Brittnee, Aaliyah and John Kramer; Gabriel and Jasmin Vega; Victoria Breed; Allison Breed; Hannah and Naomi Gross; Bryce Booker; Ashlynn and Kylie Luedecke; Emery and Gavin Leist; Hunter and Kaylee Fortenberry and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a member of Victory Fellowship Church where she loved going to Sunday school and church. She enjoyed crocheting, making star dolies, spending time with her family, friends and she never met a stranger. She had a great passion for Genealogy and was very knowledgeable about vitamins and herbs.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Victory Fellowship and Cowboy Church in Brazoria at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jamie Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
