Ronnie Joe Duarte

Our hearts were forever changed on December 15, 2025, when our beloved son, Ronnie Joe Duarte, was born into the arms of Jesus. Though his time on earth was brief, he filled our hearts with love that will never fade.

Ronnie is the cherished son of Johander and Raegan Duarte of Brazoria, and the sweet baby brother of Kasyn Swanks. He is also deeply loved by his grandparents, Ryan Goolsby of Brazoria, Abby Goolsby of West Columbia, and Carol Torres of Venezuela.

He is further survived by his great-grandparents Joyce and James Bradshaw of Mission, TX, Wilma Goolsby and Ron Freshour of Brazoria, and Carrie Long of West Columbia, TX; as well as his great-grandmother Elida Rose Berrios. Ronnie will also be remembered with love by his aunts Lindsey and Emilyn Goolsby, and his uncle William Goolsby.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Ronnie Goolsby, whose arms surely welcomed him into Heaven.

Funeral services honoring Ronnie’s precious life will be held Thursday, January 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Brazoria Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the love and light Ronnie brought into this world, however brief his stay.
