Roger Ray Williams

Funeral services for Roger Ray Williams, 74, of Pledger will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Grove Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 115 1st Street E, Pledger, TX with Pastor Derrick Blount eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery.

He passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Roger was a member of Grove Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a certified welder and worked many years at WKM in Richmond, TX.

Roger leaves precious memories with his son, Roger Ray Williams, Jr.; daughters, Schwarren La’kaye Williams, Ebony Raedawn Sanco, Jasmine Alice Williams; brother, Johnson Williams (Arice) of Pledger; sisters, Joice Williams of Houston, Frances Hall and Quenn E. Easter both of San Antonio; grandchildren, Raylyn Sanco, Rylee Sanco, Lalia Matthews, Channin Jefferson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams, Michael Amey, Louis Hall, Chauncey Williams, Michael Amey, Jr. and Jovan L. Hall.

Visitation will be same day as service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
