On October 30, 1945, a baby boy was born to Virginia Monroe and Freddie Williams, whom they named Robert. He attended school in Liberty, TX where he lived before relocating to Galveston County and later Brazoria County where he became a Mason.
He provided for his family as a mechanic and lived life to the fullest hunting and fishing, fishing being his favorite pastime. He loved his Westerns on TV, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and was known for being the best bbq’er in town and being able to repair anything. He was the last to bed at night and the first to rise, answering the call for all, young and old, be it day or night. If you knew him, you know he was never late to anything. He was everyone’s “daddy” and everyone’s “Pawpaw”. His commitment to God was strong and steadfast and he united with the Burrell Chapel Baptist Church where he served there faithfully until his death.
He departed this life Friday, September 10, 2021 at CHI St. Luke Health Brazosport in Lake Jackson, Texas.
