Rhonda Kaye (Beard) Livingston

Rhonda Kaye Beard Livingston, 71, of Sweeny, passed away on
December 24, 2024 in Sweeny.  She was born in Wharton, Texas, on November 2, 1953 to Travis R. Beard, Sr. and Evelyn Beard.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in West Columbia.  She enjoyed puzzles, reading, spending time with family and back porch visiting.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything.  She was always spreading love and kindness to everyone.  She was a mother hen and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis R. Beard, Sr. and Evelyn Beard Strockton; brother, Travis R. Beard, Jr., brothers-in-law, Roger Livingston and Paul Henry Clayton; mother-in-law, Betty Livingston; father-in-law, Bennie Livingston; grandmothers, Wilma Beard and Caroline Uherek and grandfather, Louis Uherek.

Rhonda leaves precious memories with her husband, Johnny W. Livingston, Sweeny; sons, Quentin Livingston (Eriko), Okinawa, Japan and Michael Livingston, Needville; daughters, Jennifer Livingston, Needville; Jamie Denson (Matt), Clute and Laura Brewer (Clayton), West Columbia; sister, Elaine Cadwell (Luther), Damon; stepmother, Jean Elenbaas (Jim), West Columbia; aunt, Dorothy Massey, Damon; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of West Columbia with Pastor Ryan Lintelman officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Quentin Livingston, Michael Livingston, Clayton Brewer, Korben Denson, Kristopher Denson and Paul Kevin Clayton.
