Ranseney Arnick McDonald

Funeral services for Ranseney Arnick McDonald, 72, of Clute will be Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Clute, TX with Rev. George McDonald, officiating and Pastor Edward Perry, eulogizing.  Burial will be at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Drive, Houston, TX.   

He passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

He served his country faithfully in the Army and was honorably discharged and received the National Defense Service Medal. 

Ranseney was the proud owner of a cross country Trucking Company: M&P Trucking.  He enjoyed fishing, hosting fish fries and BBQ events at his house.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Irene McDonald; grandparents, George and Eddie Mitchell; nieces, Ashley and Jasmine Hubbard; 6 uncles and 7 aunts.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Tamara Louise McDonald, Clute; sons, Randy Matthew (Dori), Yukon, OK, Djuan and Derrick Haret, both of Indianapolis, IN, Deon Hart (Denise), Brazoria; daughters, Tiara Swan (Jacob), Rosharon and Irene McDonald, Clute; sisters, Sherry Simpson, Pasco, WA and Sonseeahrae Prentis (Alfred), Lake Jackson; brothers, George McDonald (Priscilla), Houston, Donald Hubbard (Cleta) and Charles McDonald (Mary), Chicago, IL; 6 grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Active Pallbearers will be Jacob Swan, Deon Hart, Milo Wilson, Charles McDonald, Donald Hubbard and George McDonald, II.

Visitation will be the same day as the service from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the church.
