Rachel Quesada Tortosa, 85, of Tucson, Arizona, was born on October 13, 1937, to the late Mike Quesada and Emma Aldecoa in Los Angeles, California. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was a nurse for 40 years, loved her dogs, singing, gardening and enjoyed arts and crafts, specifically painting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Quesada.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Tortosa; sons, Andrew Quesada and Carlos Bernal; daughters, Mary Smith (Gerald) and Emma Piehl (Tracy) and sisters, Josephine Roth and Julia Valdez; best friend, Carmen Saucedo; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
