“Prisci”
Priscilla Marlen Alaniz, lovingly known as “Prisci”, received her wings on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the young age of 23. Born August 2, 1998 to Pedro Rene Alaniz and Monica Garcia in Galveston, TX.
Priscilla was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and a great friend to many. She enjoyed exploring outdoor activities such as traveling, experiencing different cultural foods and even some shopping. She loved spending time with family/friends and captured the beautiful moments through her photography.
Priscilla was a kind and free-spirited soul, always took advantage of life by living in the moment and cherishing every experience to the fullest.
Priscilla is survived by her mother, Monica Garcia; father, Pedro Rene Alaniz (Blanca Gutierrez); grandparents, Sofia Garcia and Rosa Maria Alaniz; sisters, Sahayra Alaniz (Adrian Jauregui) and Ariana Alaniz; nephews, Adrian Jr., Joseph, Kayden and Daniel; niece, Joanna; best friends, Sonya Trevino, Nita Khan and Benjamin Sanchez; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1713 North Tinsley, Angleton, Texas at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 with Father Khoi Le officiating. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Pedro Alaniz, Adrian Jauregui, Jesus Alaniz, Joseluis Garcia, Eduardo Alvarado and Benjamin Sanchez.
Everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
