Patsy Ann (Gipson) Bousman

 Patsy Ann Bousman, 88, of Brazoria passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 in Tennessee. She was born in Joplin, Missouri on November 4, 1937 to Fred Gipson and Verda Moore Williams.

Patsy enjoyed playing bingo and cards, doing crafts, and gambling. She was a member of the Actions club in Brazoria.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Gipson and Verda Moore Williams; the father of her children, Jim Bousman; her daughter, Kim Cardin; son, Wayne Cardin; and granddaughter Jennifer Suits.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cardin of Clarkridge, Tennessee, Debbie Wardlow of Brazoria, TX, Laura Blackstock (Roy) of Brazoria, TX; stepchildren, Johnny Cardin, Jr. (Shelly)and Shirley Mata both of Kansas City, Missouri; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren including, Jeff (B.J.) Suits, and Serenity and Kiley Camp.  

A memorial service will be held on June 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Dixon Funeral Home of Brazoria with Pastor Bill Ainsworth preaching the services.
