Pastor Arthur Williams, Sr. Obituary

Funeral services for Arthur Williams Sr., 67, of Houston, Texas will be Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Impact Church, 16310 Chimney Rock Rd., Houston, Texas with Apostle Kevin Barber Sr. of Wellspring Church International, officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cedar Lake, TX.

Arthur passed away on June 28, 2025 in Houston, TX at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Arthur graduated from Van Vleck High School where he excelled as a leader and top athlete, and he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from The University of Houston.

Arthur was the humble and proud Pastor of End Time Harvesting Church. Prior to End Time Harvesting Church, he was a financial manager at Colonial Savings bank, newspaper deliverer for USA Today and the Houston Post, basketball official for the Southwest Officials Association (SOA) in Texas, high school basketball coach at Saint Thomas Episcopal School, newspaper salesman at the Houston Chronicle, Assistant Pastor of Good News Church for 25 years, and fifth grade teacher at Good News Christian Academy. He loved reading, studying his bible, and spending time in prayer. He also loved his family. He loved spending time with them as well as his church family. Arthur loved fitness and working out, playing basketball, baseball, riding bikes and walking with his wife. He spent time with his children and grandchildren, attending their various games and activities, playing dominoes, cards, board games and playing sudoku brain puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Williams Sr. and Ernestine Williams Smith; paternal grandparents, Joel Williams Sr. and Clarinda Williams; maternal grandparents, Tommy Williams and Georgia Bonner Williams-Woodard; stepfather, Albert Smith Sr.; brothers, Arthur Williams I and Ralph Williams Jr.; sisters, Carrie Williams, “Baby” Ernestine Smith and Kemberley Williams; uncles, Joel Williams Jr. and Augustus Williams Sr.; aunts, Wilhelm Moye, Girtha Woodard and Faye Woodard.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Diane Williams; sons, Arthur Williams Jr., Marcus Williams and Troy Williams; daughters, Kelli Brown (Edward) and Brittani Williams; brothers, Roy Williams, Albert Smith Jr. (Tanya), Tommie Williams (Crystal), Corey Williams (Marcey) and Tedd Williams; sisters, Cathy Alexander, Mary Jones, Arthurine Williams, Pamela Kent (Derrick), Monique Williams Armstrong, Gertrude Williams, Tena Jordan and Lisa Gardner; grandchildren, Brett Arthur Williams, Luke Brown and Elektra Brown; stepmother Edna Moore; special aunt, Tena Lee Simien; good friends, Pastor Alan Thompson (Francis), Billy Richardson (Valerie), Pastor Douglas Wray and Apostle Kevin Barber Sr. (Prophetess Darlene); spiritual leaders, Apostle Skip Horton (Pastor Alicia Horton) and Apostle Jerome Nelson (Pastor Bettie Nelson); a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Danny Woodard Sr., Tracy Simien, John Irving Sr., Albert Smith Jr., Glen Irving, Tommie Williams, Terry Irving, and Gerland Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Williams, Corey Williams, Horace Woodard Jr., Gus Williams Jr., Christopher Williams, David Howard, David Williams, John Irving Jr., Michael Williams, Robby Williams, Shaun Irving, Dominique Williams, Caleb Alexander, Ted Jones Jr., Tedd Williams and Joel Wamget.

Visitation will be the same day of the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
