Pamela Lynn Ward, 68, of West Columbia passed away on January 23, 2023. She was born in Wharton, TX on January 9, 1955 to Jack and Martha Morgan.
Pamela was a member of The Living Room. She loved playing board games, cards, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ward; son, Adam Joseph Ward; brother, Pat Morgan and grandson, Tyler Wayne Ward.
She is survived by her son, Michael Dean Ward (Nicole Garner) of Richmond; daughters, Rachel Maynor (Roy, Jr.) of West Columbia, Morgan Chesson (Solomon) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Lena Savage of Bertrand, Missouri; sister, Jan Alford of Van Vleck; brother, Michael Morgan (Barbara) of Odessa, Florida; grandchildren, Chelsie Dean, Taylor Ward, Kinsey Ward, Blake Ward, Rebekah Maynor, Tre’ Maynor, Donovon Chesson, Traysean Chesson, Veronica Jacobs-Chesson, Gary Compton, Tiffany Compton, Jeremy Compton and Chessica Perez; 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.
Graveside service will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Old Town Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas with Pastor Jamie Walker officiating. Immediately following service there will be A Celebration of Life at Bethel Presbyterian Church in East Columbia, Texas.
Active pallbearers are Tre’ Maynor, Donovon Chesson, Blake Ward, Solomon Chesson, Dillon Renick and John Dean.
Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Pfeiffer and Chris Brown.
