Nettie Fay Bradford Lewis, 89, of Sweeny passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Henderson County on July 4, 1934 to Hubert and Onie Bradford.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Old Ocean. She was a homemaker and a dedicated member of the Pink Ladies. One of her greatest achievements was receiving her Realtor License.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John C. Lewis; brothers, Hubert Bradford (Gerry), Delbert Bradford (Avis), Luther Bradford (Katherine), her twin brother, Bill Bradford and sister-in-law, Debbie Lewis.
She leaves precious memories with son, Tim Lewis of Sweeny; daughters, Paula Wallace (Kevin) of West Columbia, Susan Sanderson (Glenn) of Sweeny; sister, Carine Purl of Richardson; sister-in-law, Mary Bradford of Brownsville; grandchildren, Daniel Anderson (Melissa), John Casey Anderson (Britney), Ronnie Mitchell (Rachel) and 5 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2024 at Sweeny Cemetery with Pastor Greg Smith officiating.
