Rev. Gloria was born on February 11, 1954 to Delores Diggs and Leon Thomas Jr. in New Gulf, Texas.

She was a faithful & dedicated member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Minister under the leadership of Pastors C.E. & Angeline Richardson. Rev. Gloria loved & supported her Pastoral family faithfully. She was also a dedicated member of Walk in Victory Women’s Ministry under the leadership of Co-Pastor Angeline Richardson. She also served in the Body of Christ Christian Believers Convention, Intl. Bishop C. E. Richardson, Sr., Presiding Bishop in the Crisis Intervention Department under the direction of Pastor Larry Brooks.  Her greatest joy was feeding the soul through evangelizing and bringing new souls to Christ. She was also pretty good at feeding the body. Friends, family, and customers loved her cooking and her catering. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, stage plays and a good movie. She took great pride in mentoring young women from several generations. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends, whether that was on road trips, fishing or just laughing together, Rev. Gloria made time for fellowship.

She was a very kind, special and loving mother who always wore a mischievous smile. Her kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was also the friendliest and most generous person who never met a stranger.

Rev. Gloria passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Sweeny Community Hospital in Sweeny, Texas. Preceding her in death are her father, Leon Thomas Jr., her adoptive parents, Rosco Russell Krause and Asaline Payne Krause.
