Mildred V irginia (McWhirter) Woodard "Millie"

Mildred Virginia Woodard, 89 of Bay City, Texas passed away on Monday, March 02, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on January 3, 1931 in Cartright, Texas to James Edgar and Mary Ida McWhirter.

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; son, Ronald E. Woodard and wife Pam of Sweeny; daughters, Regina Shows of Bay City, Renae Crouch of Conroe, Gwen Danford and husband Kenneth of Brazoria, Deborah A. Davis and husband Jody of Hawkins, and Mary A. Todd and husband Jesse of Greenville, 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben T. Woodard; parents, James Edgar and Mary Ida McWhirter; sisters, Bobbie N.Knapp, Dorothy Mangum and Foris Barefoot and brother, Hershel McWhirter.

Graveside service will be Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Sweeny Cemetery in Sweeny, Texas with Rev. David Jordan officiating
