Mary Irma Tamayo passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Lake Jackson, TX.

Mary enjoyed football, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Ignacio G. Tamayo, and her mother, Carolina M. Tamayo.

Mary is survived by her wife, Ladawn G. Tamayo of Sweeny, TX; her grandmother, Sarah G. Gutierrez of Sweeny, TX; her brother, Tony Anthony, Sr. of Houston, TX; her best friends, Lori Marinez of Houston, TX, and Val Dorr of Houston, TX, and many other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
