Funeral services for Mary L. Duncan, 89, of West Columbia, Texas will be Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Rehoboth Restored Ministries 607 Aiken Street, Clute, Texas with Bishop A. D. Simon eulogizing. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in West Columbia, TX.
Mary passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Chi St. Luke’s Brazosport in Lake Jackson, TX.
She was a member of Rehoboth Restored Ministries where she was the Mother of the Church.
“Granny”, as she was lovingly known, loved animals, gardening, riding horses and building things.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Katie Mae Booth; husband, Billy Joe Duncan and son, Willie O. Clark, Jr.
Mary leaves precious memories with her son, David Booth; daughter, Octavia Harris; sister, Janie M. Bucksworth; best friend, Jessie Bougie; 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Jermanie James, Jazmyne James, Corey Mathews, Christopher Grisbhy, Brenden Mathews, Eric Reyes and Monnie Hall.
Visitation will be the same day of the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
