Marvin Leon Ringo, born on December 2, 1945 to Alvin Elisha “John” and Sylvia Bell Ringo, died on April 19, 2025 at his residence (Brazoria, Texas). He was born in Ganado, Texas; spent his younger childhood in San Saba and Palacios, Texas; moving to Brazoria County in the late 60’s with his family. He worked for various contractor companies over his adult years as an I&E Superintendent, primarily Gulf States and Belmont, before retiring in 2006 due to health issues.
In addition to his parents and maternal/paternal grandparents, Marvin was preceded in death by his brother Cecil Ringo; sisters Athaleen Hall, Oveta Chamblee Vollbaum and Melvina Welsh; grandson Aaron Park; granddaughter Shyanne Barker and great-grandson Sutter Mitchell.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 36 years Darlene Ringo; the mother of his children Florence Henderson; daughters Rhonda Park (Jimmy) of Lake Jackson, TX and Amanda Ringo of Quincy, CA; sons Troy Ringo (Christa) of Sweeny, TX; Tim Ringo (Kimberly) and Tony Ringo (Alisha) of Quincy, CA; and Michael Cast (Traci) of Jones Creek, TX.
He is also survived by:
Grandchildren: Kristin Park, Lacy Wilson (Cody), Teal Homniok, Kayla Hebert (Mariah), Lexi Cast, Jayci Green (Erik), Cheyenne Robinson (Kyle), Dylan Cast, Ty Ringo (Morgan), Keana Ringo, Ashley Allen, Jake Ringo, Gabby Guillen and Kalani Cast.
Great-Grandchildren: Maverick Wilson, Korbyn Wilson, Annie Homniok, LayLahh Mendoza, Lanahh Tamez, Sawyer Mitchell, Eli Green, Luxx Hebert, Emmi Green and Sunny May Robinson.
We would like to thank the IPH Hospice Care, Inc and Staff who provided our loved one and family with the care and guidance we needed throughout this process.
Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn of Haven Rest Cemetery in West Columbia, Texas on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
