Funeral Services for Margarita R Garza, 82, of Brazoria Texas, will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 101 Brazoswood Dr., in Clute with Pastor Joshua McGee officiating.  Viewing will be from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Colonial Cemetery, Brazoria, Texas.

She passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital, Lake Jackson, Texas. 

Margarita was born on May 28, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Hope Del Bosque.  In her younger years, she enjoyed needlepoint, puzzles, and crafts and would enter her projects in the Brazoria County Fair.  She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. 

Margarita is preceded in death by her husband, Margarito Garza of 48 years; and her brothers, David Dominguez, Pete Phillips, Eugene Dominguez Jr.; brother-in-law, Ralph Yanez.  

 She is survived by three daughters, Diana Thompson (Sampson), Melinda Solis (Crispin) and Rosalinda Leader (George); two sons, Reynaldo Garza (Angela) and Ryan Garza; sister, Lupe Yanez; brother, Robert Dominguez; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Claudio and Stella Colunga;11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Solis, Gabriel Solis, Tyler Lancaster, Joe Flowers, Ray Garza and Jerry Flores.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
