Celebration of Life for Marcus Aaron Hanks, 64, of Freeport will be Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, 1211 S. Brooks St., Brazoria, TX.

He passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home in Freeport, TX.

Marcus loved listen to music, dance and detailing cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Hanks, Sr. and Ruth Smith Hanks; brother, Wilson Hanks, Jr. and sister, Louise Hanks.

Marcus leaves precious memories with his wife, Tomasa Diaz, Brazoria; sons, Marcus Diaz (Lauren), and Rudy Herrera; daughters; Victoria Diaz, NaKiesha Diaz (David), Shanice Hanks, and Kimberly Diaz (Tim); sisters, Jeraline Hanks, Lillie Gray, Ernestine Times, and Joyce Samuel; brothers, Eugene Hanks (Shawn Sweeny) and Thomas Hanks (Josephine); special nephew, Shawn Hanks; best friend, Joe Salazar; loving dog, Gabby; 9 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
