Funeral Services for Magdalene Holland, 89, of Pearland, TX will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church Community Development Center, 523 North Parrish Street in Angleton, TX with Rev. Leon Robinson officiating and Pastor Emeritus Delbert Jefferson eulogizing. Burial will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pearland, TX.
She passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Pearland, TX.
Magdalene was a member of South Park Baptist Church in Houston, TX. She was a homemaker who loved reading and spending time with the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Smith; husband, Wilmer Holland Sr.; sons, Charles Holland, Jimmy Holland; and brother, Sammie Merriweather.
She is survived by her sons, Frederick Brown, Rev. Gerald R. Holland, Wilmer L. Holland, Jr.; daughters, Ruby Green, Delfinia Montgomery, Carmen Holland, Nitra Holland, Juanita Lucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Tramaine Brown, John Dabney, Alex Green, Cuevas Holland, William Plattenburg, and Dominique Stephen.
Visitation will be at the First Missionary Baptist Church Community Development Center prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Services will be streamed on Facebook Live at fmbc-angleton
