Lunise Stelly

Funeral services for Lunise Stelly, 72, of Houston, will be Saturday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church, Cedar Lake, TX with Pastor Kenneth Bree officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cedar Lake.

She passed away on December 25, 2023 in Rosenberg, Texas.

Lunise was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mandy Parker Woodard; grandson, Brandon Stelly; sisters, Brenda Woodard and Irene Woodard Campbell.

She leaves cherished memories with her son, Vernon Fritzgerald Stelly, Houston; daughter, Flennette Renee Stelly (Clyde Lee), Houston; sisters, Marcia Yvette Simmons (Vernaldar) and Linda Fay Clay, both of Houston; brothers, Harrison Woodard, Houston,  Lonnie Ray Woodard, Bay City, Michael Wayne Higgins (Anita), Missouri City and Robert Earl Clay (Barbara), Freeport; friends, Robert Earl Carson and Rose Dora; five grandchildren, Lytanisha (Michael), DeAndre, Clyde T Lee, Ashley J Lee and Catherine B Lee; five great-grandchildren, Aaralyn Williams, Aaryana Williams, Michael Williams II, Jordyn Renee Stelly and Deavion Hicks and a host of other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Shaffer Marks, Albert Smith, Vernon Groves, Robert Carson, A. J. Gloston and Gary Woodard.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
