Ludesta (Johnson) Jammer

Funeral service for Ludesta J. Jammer of Brazoria will be Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Temple AME Church with Pastor Benjamin Emanuel officiating and Pastor Diana Creeks eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

She died Sunday, May 11, 2025, peacefully at her residence with her family.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Zerelda Moore; birthmother, Clyde J. Jammer; adopted parents, Milton and Geogia Johnson; stepfather, John Jammer, Sr.; husband, Marsene Jammer, Sr. and son, Marsene Jammer, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories son, Alanzo J. Jammer (Susan) of  Brazoria; daughter, Evelyn L Jammer of Brazoria; godsister, Audrey Wright; godchild, Tracey Bell (Herman, Jr.) of Brazoria, She had a special bond with Donnel D. Jammer (Alexis) of New Braunfels, Jeramiah L. Jammer of Sweeny and her namesake and “other right leg” Ludesta M. Beadles (Christopher) of Alvin; brother, John Jammer, Jr. and Chester A. Jammer (Bonnie) both of Brazoria; sisters, Casanna Hanks of Sweeny, Mary E. Johnson and Arquella Johnson both of Brazoria and Clyde M. Jammer of Round Rock, helped to raise Eva Kay Jammer; brothers-in- law, Elliott Jammer (Carmen) of Brazoria, Robert Jammer of Houston; sisters-in-law, Freddie Lee Jammer of Manvel, Roberta Ewing of Houston;  adopted grandchildren, great grandchildren, Anessa, Zachary, Zacharia, and Alivia, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Jammer, Gary Creeks, Robert Pennington, Randy Jammer, Chris Beadles and Nathaniel Montoya.  

Honorary pallbearers will be Alanzo J. Jammer, Donnel Jammer, Jeramiah Jammer, Elliott Jammer and Robert Jammer, 

Visitation will be: Friday, May 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.
