Funeral services for Lucy Mae Davidson, 73, of Freeport will be Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Old Fashioned Church of God in Christ in Brazoria with Minister John Hills officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Memorial Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

She passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Baylor St. Luke Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

She was a member of Old Fashioned Church of God in Christ. She loved cooking, cleaning, fishing and doing yard work. She also enjoyed listening to the blues, watching western shows and Perry Mason.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; sons, Donald Davidson (Alicia), Freeport and Shawn Davidson, Hinkle Ferry; daughters, Janice Powell (Guy), Judy Granville and Jessica Davidson Gillum (Edward) all of Freeport and Debra Lang (Tenola), Brazoria; sisters, Janie Powell, Greenville, Alabama and Rubbie Powell, Sunny South, Alabama; good friends, Bessie Goodwin and Dorothy Johnson; 23 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Billy Nichols, Craig Woods, Jr., James Gordon, III, Darnell Breaux, Barry Casimere and Dalton Breaux, III.

Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. There will be viewing at the church on the same day of service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
