Louise Carol Fredericks
1946–2025
Louise Carol Fredericks, formerly of Temple Tx., age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 28, 2025.
Services: Friday, May 9th, 2025 – St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Temple Texas
Rosary - 9:15 a.m., Funeral Mass – 10:00 a.m.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Tracy White (Gary); her sister, Fran Koffler of New York; nieces, Dina Bonaparte and Dawn Koffler; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends and extended family in Temple, Texas; Sweeny, Texas; San Diego, California; and the New York areas.
A devoted Catholic, Louise lived her faith daily through compassion, grace, and unwavering love for others. Her strong spiritual foundation and dedication to the church were evident in the joy and peace she carried throughout her life. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple, Texas, and also active in Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Sweeny, Texas. Over the years, she generously served in ministries including prison outreach, Christ Renews His Parish (CHRP), Beginning Experience, and Family Promise, supporting families experiencing homelessness.
Louise had a radiant spirit that touched everyone she met. Her kindness, empathy, and deep sense of community left a lasting impression on the hearts of many. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcomed and valued, and her joyful presence could brighten any room.
One of the most beautiful aspects of Louise's life was the extraordinarily close bond she shared with her daughter, Tracy. More than mother and daughter, they were best friends—living together at times and following each other across the country over the years. Their relationship was one of deep mutual love and support, a true testament to familial devotion. The joy and humor they shared together could have filled the pages of a book or lit up the screen as a comedy series. Their banter and boisterous laughs were infectious.
Louise was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. While we grieve her passing, we are also filled with gratitude for the time we shared with her and the cherished memories that remain.
May she rest in peace.
Final Arrangements entrusted to Dixon Funeral Home of Brazoria. (979) 798-9113.
