Funeral services for Lottie Jones Sanders, 83, of Brazoria will be Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Fifth Street Church of Christ in Sweeny with George McKnight officiating and Paul Sanders eulogizing. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

She passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She enjoyed cooking, completing crossword puzzles, watching game shows and nurturing her plants. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Willie Sanders; parents, Eichlitz “I.J.” Jones and Martha E. Jones and sister, Alice Moore.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; daughters, Deltry Epps (Gary), Brazoria and LaSandra Sanders Gillard (Channing), DeSoto; step-daughter, Erica Jordan (Robert), Spring; sister, Bobbie Darthard, Freeport; uncle, Henry Jones, Freeport; nieces, Demetria Jones and Angie Johnson both of Brazoria; nephew, Jarvis Jones, Brazoria; grandchildren, Delwin Johnican, Fresno, Letra Johnican, Houston, Garrett Epps, Brazoria and Kennedy Jordan, Spring, and other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Troy Davidson, Bruce Higgins, Byron Sanders, Curtis Sanders, Rodney Sanders and Cuney Woodard, Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria, Texas.
