Obituary
Funeral services for Leslie Faye Lewis, 71, of Freeport will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Gene Grear officiating. Burial will follow at Gulf Coast Cemetery in Clute.
Leslie passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Leslie was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, cooking, listening to music and Tik Tok.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Rose Lewis; grandchildren, Jeremy Hill and Jadelynn Turner.
Leslie leaves precious memories with daughters, Melissa Lewis (Aaron Tanner) of Desoto, TX and Roberta Wright of Freeport; step daughter, Lamonica Yarbough of Texas City; sisters, Jerline Lewis of Colorado, Rosemary Hall of West Columbia, Jackie Williams of Texas City, Ellen Lewis of Freeport; best friend, Carolyn Toney of Lake Jackson; 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2023 at Dixon Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
