A Celebration of Life for Lee Andrew Bass, Jr., 51, of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Freeport, TX will be Friday, May 26, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton, with Brother Jermane Bradshaw officiating and eulogizing.
He passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
Lee was an ordained minister at Universal Life Church. He and his brother created Jermane & Lee Films (Digital Cinematography) and B-SHAW-L.A.B. Music Production Services. Some of his greatest achievements were being a father, grandfather, Youth Sports and Activities Coach and being an inspiration to people living with Sickle Cell Disease.
He enjoyed youth sports, painting, drawing, poetry writing, storytelling, and music and film production.
Lee was preceded in death by his sister, Denitra Hall-Earls and grandfather, C. B. Turk.
Lee leaves precious memories with his father, Lee Andrew Bass, Sr. (Linda Bass); mother, Arch Bishop Corrine Turk (Henry Bradshaw); grandmother, Erma Lee Bryant; son, Lee Andrew Bass III (Amber Renee Bass); daughters, Acacia Leigh Bass, Serenity Leigh Bass (Justin Thomas Ford), Amari Leigh Bass, Jaylee Lee Bass; sisters, Bishop Tonia L. Smith (Jeremiah Smith, Sr.), Tara L. Greer, Arlane D. Bradshaw; brothers, Jermane L. Bradshaw (Rebecca C. Bradshaw), O’Daniel Bass Sr.; friends, Craige Edwards, Ondra Waddy, Lonnie Miree; 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at Dixon Funeral Home from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
