Larry Marion Peavler was welcomed home into Jesus’ arms on February 9, 2024 surrounded by family and faithful caregivers. Larry was born June 15, 1938 in Lapanto, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents Lorraine and Paul Peavler, brother Ronnie Peavler, sister Linda Lowther, son Larry Peavler, Jr, and son Ronnie. Larry is survived by his faithful wife of 56 years Michele (Mike), daughter Debbie Simon, and sons Mark Peavler and Pat Peavler. Larry and Mike are blessed with 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Larry’s professional life included mechanical and piping designer, commercial fisherman, bait camp owner, and entrepreneur. Of recent years he may be better know for loving, following, and attending events of his grandchildren or sitting front row worshipping his Lord at The Living Room Church in West Columbia, TX.
There are no words to express gratitude for so many who have loved Larry and Mike as family. Whether friends for decades, brothers and sisters through church, or professional caregivers who gave him their very best, Larry and Mike are blessed beyond measure.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 17th at Bethel Presbyterian Church in West Columbia, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that any donations be made to Christian Senior Citizens Center in West Columbia, TX.
