Funeral service for Kimether Lynn Manjang, 58, of Angleton will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Angleton with Rev. Gerald Holland officiant and eulogist. Burial will be at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

She passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at UTMB Health Angleton Danbury Campus in Angleton, Texas.

Kim served her country faithfully and was honorably discharged from the Army. She was a devout member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she was an Usher and the Assistant Director of the drill team. She loved playing spades, bowling, watching old sitcoms, going to the movies and supporting her favorite football team the Texans. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids. She worked for TDC as a mail clerk at the Ramsey I Unit and retired last year to spend more time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; mother, Ruby Span, Huber Heights, Ohio; husband, Dennis Manjang, Angleton; sons, Dennis Manjang (Kelli Curtis) and Jamal Manjang (Aylissa) both of Angleton; sisters, Rosalind Maupins (Jimmy) and Cynthia Jones both of Huber Heights, Ohio; brother, Willie Span, Jr. (Jina), Huber Heights; good friends, Alice Franks (Clem), Angleton, Kathy Aime, Humble, TX and Carolyn Riles; grandchildren, Genesis and Judah Manjang and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Jarred Morgan, Micah Franks, Terrence Franks, Torrence Spears, Currin Perry and Valor Thomas.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Visitation will also be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
