Kenneth Ray Groovey

Memorial services for Kenneth Ray Groovey, 76, of Missouri City, TX, will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Brentwood Baptist Church, 13033 Landmark, Houston, TX.  A Repast will follow at 12:00 p.m.

On October 2, 2025 Kenneth made his earthly transition. Kenneth was a member of Brentwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed tennis and was a member of the WW Tennis Committee and the Chairman of KTSU Tennis Tournament. 

He leaves many who loved him and will cherish the special memories: his partner, Tammi Jones; his daughter, Angela Karol Grovey and her mother, Carolyn Grovey-Brown; his uncle, Jerry Wayne Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Claudia Grovey Clark, his stepfather Shepherd Clark, his sister Nancy Clark Mack, and his sister Bonnie Ruth Clark.

Kenneth was a supporter of the Love Zach Foundation, which does cancer research and runs a tennis tournament yearly that Kenneth helped run. In lieu of flowers please send donations to further cancer research and tournament support to lovezachfoundation.org.
