Funeral services for Kendon Devon Fields, 19, of Missouri City, TX will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at First Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center, 523 North Parrish, Angleton, TX with Pastor H. L. Lemon officiating and Pastor G. R. Holland eulogizing.

On April 1, 2023 answering God’s call; Kendon transitioned from earth to Glory.

His education began in Angleton ISD.  He later relocated to Fort Bend ISD where he graduated at the top of the class from Thurgood Marshall High School in 2021.  While at Thurgood Marshall he excelled in academics, computer coding, AVID and Upward Bound.  He also loved music which he expressed in every aspect of his life.

Kendon furthered his education at San Jacinto College and Houston Christian University. 

Greeting him in Heaven are his Grandparents: Dianne Davidson, Silvester Simple Sr., Alfred Cook Jr., Betty Lou Fields, and Donald Fields Sr.. Great Grandparents: Martha Hobbs, Leola Davidson, Charles Thomas, Celester Hawkins-Cook, and Alfred Cook Sr.

Kendon memories will forever be cherished by his Mother: Pauline Davidson of Missouri City.Sister: Jaylynn Davidson of Missouri City. Brothers:JaKaivian White of Missouri City and Douglas Fields of Fresno. Grandmother (DearDear): Marsha Simple of West Columbia. Great Grandmother: Cleopatra Thomas of Cedar Lane. Aunts:Cherrica Dredden (Robert) of San Antonio, Sonya Cook of Richmond, and Loretha Edison (Herman) of Brazoria. Great Aunts: Bobby Opara of Clute, Cleoester Armstrong (Rocky) of Bay City, TX, Catherine Simple[1]Garett (Victor) of Houston, TX, and Rosiland Waddy (Raymond) of Arcola. Special Aunt: Cassie Johnson of Brazoria. Uncles: Joseph Massey Jr. of West Columbia, Caniel (Shaun) Massey (Jenny) of Sweeny.Edward (CJ) Simple (Veronica) of Lake Jackson, Silvester Simple Jr. of Freeport, Eric Williams (Tanya) of Kingsville, and Joseph Horton of Sugarland. Great Uncles: Solomon Munir (Edwina) of Angleton, TX, and Charles Thoma Jr.(Coletta) of Brazoria, TX. Special Friends: Azyah Bush of Missouri City, Marcus Sirls of Missouri City, and Brandon Sidney-Charles of Houston, TX and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Active pallbearers are Christopher King, Kameron Baldwin, Andrea Bush, Javyahn Bush, Jasmine Christmas and Julian Gallegos.
