Kathy Bennett, 65, of Damon, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 21, 2024 in Damon, TX. She was born on June 23, 1958 to Leroy and Norma Jean Bennett in Neodesha, KS.

Kathy enjoyed cooking, Sudoku, Crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is reunited with her parents and brother, Robert Lee Bennett.

Kathy leaves cherished memories with her son, Jeremy “Bubba” Michael Mears of Brazoria, TX; daughters, Robyn Lynn McElveen (Steven) of West Columbia, TX and Amy Fayrene Mears; sister, Bonnie Jean Sebesta of Needville, TX; brother, Martin Dewayne Bennett (Robbin) of Welda, KS; 8 grandchildren, Blake McElveen (Alizabeth), Taylor McElveen, Craig Szott, Jonathan Flash, Mason Rhodes, Whitney Rhodes, Chance Filer, Derek Boettcher ; 5 great-grandchildren, Hazel McElveen, Aron Lopez, Velicity Phinney, Mira Bates, Kaden Flash; best friend and father of her children, Randy Mears and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.

Family will receive friends the same day as service from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
